What to Expect
Your first visit will probably take a little bit longer than most visits due to the comprehensive nature of the consultation, regional exam, and/or physical exam. We take pride in being thorough and pinpointing what the problem is. We will perform a variety of orthopedic exams that are designed to reproduce the pain and help us isolate the problem area and tissue. We promise to be gentle and perform these tests according to your level of tolerance. We will also be assessing range of motion and joint function.

Depending on the severity of your case or physical condition, you may need additional diagnostic imaging, such as X-rays, MRIs, and bone scans. We do not have diagnostic imaging capabilities in the clinic, but rather have contracted with nearby imaging centers for these tests. Based on our experience, most patients will not require these tests or exams to receive chiropractic care.

AZ Usual & Customary Fees
Since 1925, when the Arizona Legislature passed the State’s first Workers’ Compensation Act (“Act”), the Industrial Commission of Arizona (“Commission”) has administered the workers’ compensation laws of that Act. The Act includes the authority of the Commission to set a schedule of fees to be charged by physicians, physical therapists, and occupational therapists attending injured employees. See A.R.S. § 23-908(B).
Most of the fees at ChiroTrendz Family Chiropractic and Wellness are priced at or below those established by the state of Arizona for Usual and Customary fees and can be found here.
Personal Injury Fees
There normally are no out of pocket expenses for Personal Injury claims if you are not at fault and have opened a claim with your insurance company or the at-fault party’s insurance company. A Medical Lien will be filed with all involved 3rd party payers and legal representatives, regardless of fault, for all Personal Injury cases to ensure that all treatments and visits are covered by the appropriate entity.
A Medical Lien will be filed in Maricopa County, Arizona on behalf of ChiroTrendz Family Chiropractic and Wellness Center for all ongoing medical expenses accrued in our office. A copy of the lien will be provided when filed. Any changes to this process must be discussed and agreed upon within 30 days. Please seek legal counsel relative to this financial policy.
